Description Workshop will review ideas and provide strategies to answer the following questions:
You are invited to come and explore best practice strategies to complete AAC assessments and begin to implement AAC treatment strategies. Using lecture and case studies participants will learn about communication and access for individuals with complex needs. You will make your way through 3 interactive lab stations and Do guided hands-on activities. Participants will create therapy plans including implementation strategies and goals in all area of communicative competence.

As an Assistive Technology Specialist Dannel's passion is assisting with all things related to AAC including assessment, the funding process, implementation, and training for those with complex communication needs. Dannel is dedicated to evidence-based practice and has presented on the topic of AAC nationally and internationally.
