Description Course Description: You are invited to come and explore in the Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab! Using lecture and case studies, participants will LEARN about communication, access and education solutions for individuals with complex needs. Then you will make your way through interactive lab stations and DO guided hands-on activities. Opportunities to APPLY your knowledge in practical ways will be provided. Each participant will leave the session with a handful of resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day! Program Completion Requirements: Participants are expected to be present for the entire program. Individuals who are not present for the full program will not be recommended for ASHA CEUs. No partial credit will be provided.
Presenter: Jeri Lynn Hoffman, MA graduated with a Master’s Degree in Audiology and a Special Education Degree (BS, Education of the Hearing Impaired) from Kent State University, Kent, OH. She has over 30 years of experience in working with Augmentative Communication.
