After graduating with a degree in education, LuAnne DeVall spent many years working to educate students, whether it was a special needs or a general classroom, to help them understand the required topics. Her experience includes working with adults and children with disabilities that include: CP, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, ALS , Apraxia, Dysarthria and more. LuAnne joined the Tobiidynavox team in June 2010. Her interest in the position was peaked, when she learned the multiple avenues of communication offered in the Tobiidynavox devices. In the past six years she has been a guest presenter at UVA, Longwood University, JMU and Radford University in the graduate speech program. Her number one goal is education – education about the process to receive a device, the benefits of having a device, as well as education for everyone to know how to help the user Communicate with Confidence and Connect and Belong.
