Description

Come and learn in the Boardmaker Online Discovery Lab! Using lecture, demonstration and hands-on exploration, participants will become familiar with Boardmaker Online. Boardmaker Online is a powerful solution used to create endless symbol-based materials for communication, behavior support, and education. You will have multiple opportunities to apply your knowledge in practical ways and will leave with useful resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day!

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

·        Describe three traditional uses of symbol-supported materials for individuals with special needs

·        List three categories of performance enabled interactive templates in Boardmaker Online

·        Demonstrate retrieval of pre-made materials found on the Boardmaker Online Community to support individuals in a variety of settings

Participants are expected to be present for the entire session. Individuals who are not present for the full program will not be recommended for ASHA CEUs. No partial credit will be provided.
