Description Snap Core First is a symbol-based communication software designed to be easy to use for both AAC communicators and communication partners. Snap Core First engages users as they learn to communicate quickly and as they evolve on their communication journey. Join us as we highlight the features within Snap Core First that make it a premier communication solution for both emergent communicators and experienced communicators. Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, participants will be able to: · Name two features within Snap Core First that contribute to successful communication outcomes for the individual using AAC. · Name two features within Snap Core First that contribute to successful partner implementation. McKenzie Mok
McKenzie Sauser Mok, MA, CCC-SLP graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master's in Speech Language Pathology. She has worked extensively in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) with a wide variety of AAC systems. McKenzie has presented for the Kansas and Illinois Speech Language Hearing Associations, Missouri Assistive Technology, and various AT/AAC conferences. She also participates in ASHA SIG 12 (AAC). McKenzie has worked for Tobii Dynavox as a Solutions Consultant since 2013.
