Description Participants will learn the strategic plan required when introducing clients to eye gaze accessible Tobii Dynavox systems. Attendees will customize eye gaze settings and learn about several pieces of software to ensure maximal success for all clients who use eye gaze.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
● Identify two calibration supports to assist those who struggle to calibrate.
● List two positioning strategies to ensure functional eye gaze use.
● Identify three tools to teach functional eye gaze use to beginning communicators.

Erica Mbangamoh
Erica earned his Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska in 2005, and also holds an Honours degree in Augmentative and Alternative Communication from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Her initial work experience included providing AAC assessment and intervention for all ages; she also co-developed an AAC camp focused on increasing the socialization of young adults who use AAC. She has presented at ASHA, MSHA, ISHA and has written articles for ASHA SIG 12 newsletter and Closing the Gap Magazine. Erica has been with Tobii Dynavox for over 7 years, first in southern Minnesota, and most recently in the Chicagoland area.
