Description Join us in this workshop as we introduce ideas, curricula and materials that will not only meet the needs of each student but will also make your life easier. We will explore the four implementation pillars for supporting individuals with complex communication and learning needs: education, communication, access, and social/emotional learning. Participants will use Snap + Core First, Boardmaker, and other resources to develop specific strategies for supporting success within each of the pillars, both for the therapy room and the classroom. After the workshop you will walk away with practical resources to use immediately. There will be a $75 registration fee for this event paid to Fort Hays State University. Upon registration, staff from Fort Hays State University will reach out to registrants to collect payment.

Amber Dollar M.Ed, is a seasoned educator and administrator with over twenty years experience in public education. Prior to joining Tobii Dynavox, Amber served in the public schools in numerous roles including teacher, special education coordinator, transition specialist, AT supervisor, and curriculum writer. Now Amber is a Learning Program Manager on the Learning Services team. In this role, she develops and facilitates virtual and on-site learning and creates implementation resources for families and professionals.
