Description Course Description: Pulling it All Together! Day 1 attendance is required. During this half-day session students and kiddos are invited to join with their support teams for hands-on literacy, communication and instruction! Support teams will observe as the strategies and techniques learned from Day l are presented to students by Susan Norwell and Rett University Coaches. Support teams will be given the opportunity to practice these strategies with direct coaching and feedback provided. This is a session you won't want to miss!
Learning Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to: (1) Identify two characteristics of learners with complex needs. (2) Utilize two communication partner strategies that support book reading activities. (3) Implement two soft tech literacy solutions to support writing skill development for the learner with complex needs.
COURSE PREREQUISITE: YOU MUST ATTEND DAY 1 EVENT (SEPTEMBER 22) TO ATTEND THIS COURSE.
