In this workshop we will explore the full range of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solutions from Tobii Dynavox, focusing on both symbol and literate AAC communicators. We will provide an overview of communication solutions and AAC access methods.

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

·        Define Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

·        List 3 selection methods that can be used to access a speech generating device (SGD).

·        Identify 2 software solutions from Tobii Dynavox that support symbol-based communicators.

·        Identify 2 software solutions from Tobii Dynavox that support literate communicators.
