Introduction to Eye Gaze: Steps to Success

Description

For individuals with motor challenges, eye gaze technologies can be a tool for participating in their world and creating opportunities for independence and learning. In this course, you’ll learn why eye gaze is a foundational skill for someone who relies on their eyes to interact with their world. We will review suggestions for positioning and customization options within the Tobii Dynavox eye-tracking software for successful calibration. Implementation tips for new eye gaze learners will also be reviewed.

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

  • State 1 benefit of eye gaze access for individuals with motor challenges.
  • Identify 2 techniques that support proper positioning for successful calibration.
  • Identify 3 tips that can be used to support eye gaze success for new learners.
