Up Close and Personal: TD Talk for Fast, Text-Based Communication

Description

This month we are offering a live 3-part series. We recommend that you take these courses in the following sequence. However, should you miss one session, recordings are found here on ourLearning Hub.

1. Communication Supports for Aphasia

2. Comprehension for People with Aphasia

3. Stay True to You: Customize Your Communication with TD Snap Aphasia

Today’s course is titled Communication Supports for Aphasia. Review communication supports that can help persons with aphasia. These can be simple low-tech solutions to computer devices with speech output that all aim to support the person at their need level. In this session you’ll learn what communication supports are, how they increase independence for people with aphasia, and how to use the Aphasia Page Set from Tobii Dynavox to support daily interactions.

After registering for this event, you will immediately receive an email from your presenter containing details which include the link to join the training. If you don’t receive the email, please check your spam folder.

We look forward to learning with you in our live virtual session. Join us to hear answers to your unique questions and share ideas with peers from around the world. If you are unable to attend, don’t worry, everyone registered will receive a recording via email.
