We understand that AAC Assessments can feel intimidating, but they do not have to be! Tobii Dynavox has resources that will help you throughout the AAC assessment process. Learn practical and effective strategies for conducting dynamic AAC assessments with children. Whether you’re new to AAC or looking to refine your practice, this course will give you practical, person-centered tools to guide your assessment process in a way that is flexible, effective, and rooted in respect for the communicator. 

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:    

• Describe three benefits of dynamic AAC assessments
• Identify four resources to help you plan for an AAC assessment
• List three signs of communication success within an assessment

Lauren is a Learning Consultant for Tobii Dynavox. She is also a Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience treating clients in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and schools. Initially joining Tobii Dynavox as a Solutions Consultant, she worked directly with SLPs and their clients to explore assistive technology solutions. Now, as a Learning Consultant, her focus lies in developing and delivering trainings to empower communicators and their partners.
