Ignore user interaction while sound is playing

July 31, 2016

Users are able to interact with the device again after 60-90 seconds if "Ignore user interaction while sound is playing" is enabled.  This is for the user's safety.

To set up the device so the user can listen to a sound or video that is longer than 60 seconds without locking out the user's ability to communicate the user can either pause the eye tracking on the device with a command as the song starts and then have the user unpause by using the off screen menu.  Alternatively, the individual who is programming Communicator can link the button to another page that is a copy of the current page with a "select different song" button at the bottom.
